The LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ is a voluntary program designed to help guide the development of high-performance commercial buildings such as offices, groceries, schools and more. The more LEED credits a project accumulates, the higher the rating the building or project receives. The higher the rating, the more "green" the building or project becomes.
